My name is Iris and I am a third year undergraduate at McGill University, studying history and international development studies. I am always keen to think critically about popular discourses and, I have found that time and time again a thorough studying of history and historiography is the best way to do that. I discovered my passion for history while in high-school in France, learning about Israel and Palestine. It would only make sense that I am now joining Parallel Histories to work on a french version of the project! I am really excited to be researching the role of the French in key moments of the history of the conflict, and how that ought to illuminate our understanding of it.
